A clean stack separates prospecting, verification, sending, infrastructure, and handoff. Beginners do better with fewer tools and clearer jobs for each one.

What each part of the stack is supposed to do

Use categories to prevent tool overlap and to keep vendor decisions tied to actual workflow stages.

Prospecting and data
Use these to identify likely-fit companies and contacts, then narrow aggressively before export. Examples: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay.
Verification
Clean addresses and reduce avoidable bounces before the first sequence begins. Examples: MillionVerifier, NeverBounce, ZeroBounce.
Sending platforms
Sequence management, mailbox rotation, and testing tools for responsible outbound workflows. Examples: Instantly, Smartlead, Saleshandy, Woodpecker.
Inbox and domain infrastructure
The underlying mailboxes and domains that shape trust, authentication, and risk containment. Examples: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Cloudflare DNS.
CRM and handoff
Capture positive replies, segment next steps, and move warm leads into permission-based flows. Examples: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close.
Landing pages and opt-in capture
Useful when the goal is moving relevant cold contacts toward clear, permission-based follow-up. Examples: Kit, Beehiiv, Carrd.
